Ara Damansara

We are familiar with Ara Hill. This is where the Condos are being built. More than 2 years ago, before its official launch, my neighbour was asked by one of his friends where this place is. We were scratching our heads as we can’t find any hill in our area.

Now, do you know where Ara Impian is? Or Ara Putra? Our property developer has decided to name the remaining areas of Ara Damansara.

The old phase encompassing residential areas in Bayu, Embun, Pelangi, Mutiara, Berkeley, Palermo etc is now called Ara Impian. Ara Putra is Casarina area.

The Semi-Dees phase is now called Ara Vista and Ara Hill includes the bungalows too.

The vacant plot of opposite the Semi-Dees phase is now called Ara Perdana. In the original plan, this area is marked for commercial developments but with so many shop houses around us, I guess they finally realize it’s better to convert it to a residential area. At one time, it was said this area is for bungalow lots but the last I heard is it will be a gated environment for super link houses. The plans keep changing so anyone knows what is the latest? For those staying in Atilia & Alissia, your area is called Ara Prinxxx. Don’t know what the xxx is as it is truncated from the map. So switch on your imagination and have a guessing game.

Even the main artery roads are now named too: Jalan 1A/3 is called Persiaran Ara Sentosa; Jalan 1A/20 is called Persiaran Ara Sejahtera. I can’t tell from the map but I guess the name for Jalan 1A/1 is Persiaran Ara Damansara.
