Were you bumped? I almost got killed.
Last Thursday night (9th of July 2009), me and my sister was driving out of Ara Damansara, I was the driver. I drove about 60kmph, the road was dark as usual and suddenly I hit on a very high bump. My car flew up like a 4×4 Big Foot stunt car and landed hard on the road. I was shocked as there were no yellow stripes on road or sign boards to indicate that there was a bump ahead. My car was damaged but thankfully both of us are safe.
The bump was removed on the next day. I wasn’t surprise to hear that there were few accidents happened. Were you bumped too?

No wonder it was removed and I guessed someone complained. It’s fortunate that you were not injured else you could sue. I actually welcome the bump because this stretch of road have become a F1 track past midnite. These bikers and motorists will step on the gas the moment the lights turn green. I think the bump will return but they need to do things the right way. Install signs and mark the road. Actually if you are regular user, you would not have missed it during the daytime.
My car hit the bump too and almost overturn. I really shocked and would like to find out whose idea is that to build the bump, Sime or MBPJ? The bump is odd in shape and size and definitely posted danger for the motorist especially at night.
I was a victim too but this was in the morning with several slow cars and a tractor ahead of me and to my right. So, when there was a window of opportunity to overtake ahead of the car on my right, I speeded up and wadayaknow…ran smack into the stupid hump which appeared overnight and disappeared overnight too!! And other than tar marks on the road, all traces of debris had been cleanly removed too, except for the load of sand on the road reserve. Makes one wonder if something serious had happened and someone must have issued a serious threat to whoever built it in the 1st place (no permit? insufficient prior warning to road users?)
I almost got killed too when my 4X4 flung moment I hit the bump. I wonder who would have build this and the next day, it was gone. Gosh!!!
