Ara Hill Development Update as of December 2009

Last Sunday, I did a site visit to Ara Hill, the one and only medium rise condo and low rise villas estate in Ara Damansara, as part of my market research to better serve my customer. Sime Darby Property mentioned that they expect the project to be completed by end of 2009 and almost 80% of its units are sold. I took an effort to snap some pictures:
Ara Hill consists of 4 blocks of medium rise condominiums, a total of 290 units.
There are 110 units of low rise villa in front of the condominiums
Villas are surrounded with beautiful landscape
Surrounded by living water streams
More than 50 species of plants to be feautured
Luxurious swimming pool
Tennis court by the club house
Children playground
Secured, Guarded, Gated and Electrified!

when is the handover ?
Sime Darby used the power fencing at Planter’s Haven as well. According to them one thief tried to climbed in and he got zapped and fainted.
Frankly, I’d be more interested in seeing that eyesore development Platinum get finished. Any updates from anyone on that progress?
does electric fence cost alot to maintain? wonder how much their TNB bil is?
I heard PWC has taken over on the Platinum until they get a buyer for the project.
