Missing Dog
This dog wandered out of the owner’s house at around 3pm today and was last seen in the area of the park facing the Semi-Ds. The owner is extremely sad over her missing dog as he is very dear to her. She is asking for help from any Ara Damasarians who may have seen this dog wandering around in the neighbourhood.

The dog is called Button. If you have seen him loitering in the neighbourhood, please report date & time of sightings. If a good samaritan has found him and is taking care of him, please advise so that the dog can be re-united with the owner soonest possible.

Button was found and returned safely to the owner on Sunday. Our Good Samaritan, thank you very much!, your action is highly appreciated.
Here’s the mail I received from the owner.
good news!
button was found by a good samaritan in NZX and returned to us safely, scared but unharmed.
we are very grateful for all the kind thoughts, suggestions and assistance given to us during that challenging time when he was missing. it made us realise that there are many wonderful people in the neighbourhood
If that is the case, I hope the owner would have the kind courtesy to remove all the posters put up. Typical behaviour – put up, never remove.
I met up with the owner yesterday and now know the full story and that the Good Samaritan is not so good after all. That was a finder’s fee in exchange for the dog. Maybe I am too simple minded, I had not expected the finder to state a finder’s fee. and the amount was no small sum.
Wouldn’t that be more like kidnap?
This is the typical Malaysian that we get these days. The type who does the wrong thing thinking that they are in the right
If the owners offers a finder’s fee – that is fine (even though a person with a kind heart would decline it and just accept a handshake) but the demand for a fee from the finder is plain ridiculous.
Replace the dog with a child. I wonder if the finder will have the nerve to demand for a fee.
The owner should just make a police report stating that the finder kidnapped the dog though I think the finder is smart enough not to reveal his/her location and called from a public phone.
The finder is quite bold and I say “thick skin” too. The fortunate piece, perhaps, is they are not Ara Damasarians and not even in our nearby neighbourhood.
