Our Beautiful Park

After months of work, our new park next to Ara Vista is almost ready. The new park has an undulating landscape, a unique design that is supposedly came from a Japanese artist. These mounts offer a fresh new look creating an opportunity for budding photographers to test their new found skills.

There is new pathways for walkers and joggers and the extra lighting points should make the park more accessible in the late evenings. The ponds are now deeper and slightly larger but the water remain muddy due to the high silt content.

There are two new rest areas with stools and benches which will soon become popular spots for the residents to enjoy the mornings and evenings. These facilities may even allow you to hold a small party during the weekends. BBQ, anyone?

The children’s playground is restored with new rubberized floor in vibrant colours. This will be a magnet for our resident juniors and the screaming, shouting and laughing will soon return.

I was told this project costs millions and for this, we have to express our deepest appreciations to our developer.

A BIG Thank You, Sime Darby Property!

I hope there will be a lot of fish like before as my kids really liked to feed the fish.

I hope our kind neighbour’s from the flat’s across the road will not damage the playground and catch all the fishes like before.

I must visit our beautiful park again soon!

My last visit was about 2 weeks ago, condition was better but still lots of improvements to be done. Building materials like wooden planks with nails etc was left lying around on the grass, and there were children running about. No safety concerns from the contractors. The pond is still miserable and there were dead fish floating around, probably ‘choked’ to death from the rubbish and weeds growing in the water. It was a real sorry site.

Your photos have inspired me to check out the park again. Thanks.
