Ara Damansara Short-cut – Update #7

Time flies especially when you are glued to your TV watching your favourite teams playing in the World Cup. It’s July now but is the road anywhere closer to completion yet?
Almost there but not quite. Work remaining include road surfacing, pavement works and installation of traffic lights. Concrete blocks are barricaded at the left side (near the Idaman entrance) while a boom gate with a padlock is installed on the right. Some impatient users have pushed aside one of the concrete blocks leaving a gap just big enough for a vehicle to pass through. If you want to try, just be awared of the lower unfinished road. It is not advisable for vehicles with low clearance especially those with mods. The gate on the right is sometimes left unlocked so try your luck.
At the other end, the road works is almost done. Road users from Kota Damansara will be able to turn right to Jalan 1A/1. However, if you are heading towards the tunnel, you will to make a left and make a U turn near Bangunan 3M.

somehow, i suspect the contractors are draggin their feet….the exit at the tropicana side does not seems to be progressing while the connecting road between TA and ara…..remains the same for many many weeks with no further signs of progress and with vehicles using the untarred road, coupled with the rain, it is slowly getting uneven again.
Open the way and let us stop abusing the Taman Kelana Idaman people…
any progress thus far? I would imagine that the road would be “tar”ed by now…
Idaman Resident had force the TA contactor to stop work on this Public Road,if the road…open, their area will be busy…..
So gather & Protest against this…….
Really? I am sure some Idaman residents need to go the opposite direction too. So it really doesn’t make sense.
Even though it has not been ‘fully open/done’ to the public yet. It had shown the maximum convenient of traffic flow and traveling period. I have the same thinking that this will definitely give convenient to the neighboring as well.
