Update (as of 6.45pm), the stretch nearer to the traffic light is almost leveled now. But at the far end, there is a hump about 6 inches high so please slow down when you reach this stretch. The rain and the fresh gravel has caused the road to be very muddy so be prepared.

(As of 6pm) The link is now passable to traffic again, thanks to a few residents who spent the last 3 hours shovelling the huge pile of gravel reducing its height to a level that a vehicle can cross.
At press time, representatives from MPPJ were onsite and the press has also been called.

Wow! Great job! I am proud to be Ara Damansarian who have can-do spirit. Sorry can’t be there as I stuck in the office. For those on-site please take care, in case the other party gets violent. Nowadays, you never know what others are willing to do to get their way. Please take care and have the police standby with us if possible.

I recall some many months ago written in the papers by one relevent govt authority that this link will be surfaced and opened asap. By now it should either be opened or closed and not in between. The relevent authority must step in now before this ridiculous antics especially by the other side of the divide like digging trenches, piling rock & sand and using human shield play out to an ugly end. The relevent authority must stick to its pledge to open the road. If an injunction has been raised, shouldn’t it be until and unless a decision is arrived this road should remain open??

http://thestar.com.my/metro/story.asp?file=/2009/12/24/central/5360007&sec=central) is on an article appearing in The Star dtd 24/12/09 on the mayor Datuk Mohamad Roslan Sakiman wanting the developer i.e. TA First Credit to open the road linking Ara Damansara and Tropicana by the end of January 2010 (hello! its now AUG 2010!) The link is still closed despite an order in NOV 2009 from Selangor MB Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to open it to ease traffic congestion at the much debated Jalan Tanjung.

Really, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! The authorities need to step in and walk the talk! Pls deal with this issue once and for all. We all hope that the lawmakers can deal with this matter fairly too, for everyone’s betterment.
Great team spirit a big thank you for all those who worked so hard earlier..what sort of ppl with such mentality as to use such tactic to block road which are meant to be use by the public..do those residents on the other side think tat stretch of road belong to them..I wonder

I am so proud to be part of AD residents.
I did drive past at 01:00 on 17th Aug 2010 so the work was definitely done after that time.
I drove past again just now at 21:00 on the same day and the link is passable.
You know what’s going to happen tonight? Somebody’s going to dump a huge pile of boulders on both end of the road. Trust me on this.
Will drive back over around 01:00 to see if anything happens.
Whoever dumped the heap of stones to block the access has really done a great deed to UNITE us over this side of the divide! My thanks to all those who have come together to clear the way again. The speed in which we have managed to clear the heap of stones just goes to show the kind of UNITY and COOPERATION within our neighbourhood. Well done and Bravo!
