Ara’s Twin Tower
Malaysia’s Petronas Twin Tower is renowned. It was the tallest building in the world and held on to this title for 6 years. It was overtaken by Taipei 101 in 2004.
Closer to home, we may have our own Twin Tower soon. Plans have been filed to build two blocks of 27 storey buildings comprising of 828 units along Jalan PJU 1A/41. If you are not familiar, this road starts at the intersection of 1A/1 (near where the Ara-Tropicana link is), pass by Winchester, NZX, Crimson Condo and ends at a T-junction with 1A/46 (near Megah Mas tunnel).
A public hearing has been scheduled next Tuesday August 24th at Bilik Mesyuarat Bunga Mawar at MBPJ head office. The meeting starts at 2.30pm.
A group of us met with our area councilor last night and the councilor has requested that residents from Ara Damansara be present.
Those who would like to object to this development (especially Winchester/ Attillia/Alissia residents) should make time to attend the hearing.

Does anybody know the exact location of this development ? Is it at the empty land directly opposite Winchester or at the proposed development site of NZX square adjacent to T junction near tmn megah tunnel ?
The Ara 27-storey twin tower is to be built at NZX square, ie. next to the Megah Mas underpass.

i tok there is a regulation on max height of any building within certain radius Airport ? unless this location already out from the distance
The notice board is put up at the junction of NZX and D’aman Crimson apartment.
The building will include 2 floors of basement, thus above the land surface 25 floors.
