Ara Damansara Short-cut – Update #9

Trafficlight

Traffic lights are now installed at the Persiaran junction. Once testing is complete, it should be operational soon.

The current impasse is ending. We were told MBPJ has written to the developer to resume work. The developer has responded they will only do so if their conditions are met. MBPJ has given them the green light to proceed.

It will take a few more weeks to complete this stretch: completing the pavements, tarring and turning on the street lights. It is likely the link will be open by end September.

That’s on the assumption that the recalcitrants don’t throw any more tantrums.

I have requested En Khairul to inform MBPJ Engineering Department to reactivate the traffic light at PJU1A/1 (near the link road. Hopefully this can be ready by end of next week. Cheers…

Dr M was once labelled a recalcitrant by the OZ but, at the same time, a hero to many others :-)

Yes..there is progress!! let hope for the best for an opening soon..!

  • The traffic lights at the PJU1A/1 & PJU1A/3 junction has been programmed to allow vehicles coming from the Tropicana Link to proceed straight or turn right at the junction. Thanks to our Councillor Encik Khairul Anuar and the Engineering team involved.
