564 Thank-you’s
Simply amazing! Over eight days, we received a total of 564 signatures for this campaign. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for your wonderful support! It is the right thing to do: standing up for our rights for a beautiful and tranquil neighbourhood that we are proud of.

We are very fortunate to have a group of selfless volunteers. They sacrificed their personal time to print, distribute and checking every day at the designated guard houses. Some put in extra efforts to go door to door to gather support. Two took the initiative to speak with the owners of Kedai Kapitan and Klinik Mediviron. A very BIG thank you to Encik Amin and Dr Patrick for supporting our campaign!
We have good support from almost all phases of this community. Residents at Ara Vista (Semi-D) and Palemo provided the biggest support with 24% each. Calarosa and Catarina each contributed 11%. Winchester was very close behind at 10%. The balance came from Embun (7%), Berkeley (6%) and Others (7%).
We now await the date of the public hearing. We need to form a strong defence team and we need subject matter experts to help out. Those familiar with town planning, traffic study, environmental protection, local by-laws, real estates, legal, engineering, public relations and marketing are welcome to join us.
This neighbourhood can remain as a sanctuary with beautiful parks and resort-like living with tranquility. Or it can be turned into a place with traffic nightmares, haphazard parking, dirty streets with rodents, high levels of pollution and worst of all, crime-prone streets. Just imagine the value of our property in such a neighbourhood.
So please support us!

We from Alisia and Atilia did support too , dun make it sound like we are far from there with the less impact, so we do not bother =)
i saw a few signatures when i went there to sign. unless it is lost , else Alisia and Atilia shd have some percentages too
Yes, there were supporters from Atilia/Alissia too, they are grouped under Others (7%).
Come on, give these poor guys a break. My phase is not named and I accept that, in percentage terms, it is not worth mentioning the specific percentage for my phase.
Why the inferiority complex? We are all in the same boat when it comes to this development.
I’m glad you put in the percentages. Nothing like a bit of competition to stir up some action, especially if and when another signature campaign comes around, god forbid!
I really have to thank our guards at Palemo for getting about 130+ signatures. For 2 evenings in a row, they diligently stopped every in-coming car with a sticker to ask for signatures. It was very effective. A few residents did not want to sign, but that is their prerogative – they were not hassled/harassed to sign.
Yes, that is the same trick that was used at Ara Vista too. I was told the residents at Imperial Heights did the same but unfortunately it was too late as the campaign was already closed.
Come on, I will not sign. It does not make sense at all. There is no objection when Pilmore are built. Stop discrimination. My house located just next to the low cost flat where according to this post, they are ‘crime-prone streets’. But the fact is, they are not. They are absolutely not.
STOP DESCRIPMINATION
STOP RACISM
“I am poor but I am not theft”
Likewise I didn’t sign. I just don’t want to be a bunch of selfish blokes who, on one hand, try to stop people from coming into our areas to prevent congestion but, on the other hand, stoop down so low as to remove barriers and barricades to open roads across other development caring very little about what others are trying to protect. I am ashamed to tell people that I live here.
