Annual Traffic Light Fault week

Isn’t it strange how every year at this time, the traffic lights at the junction of PJU 1A/3 – PJU 1A/20 goes off? I remember clearly last year it was November as well and it did not get fixed for 3 weeks. I wonder how many accidents occurred at that junction.
This year, the problem is compounded by the off street lights north of that junction along the Seri Pilmoor bungalows. I’ve just returned from my morning walk, and I was not surprised to see an accident had just happened.
Anyway, I’ve called MBPJ and they told me the faulty lights have already been reported. But the interesting thing is that the staff said the traffic lights/road has yet to be handed over to MBPJ. Say what? I wonder if the roads are only going to be handed over to MBPJ after the completion of Seri Pilmoor.

Unfortunately MBPJ only accepts the traffic lights as faulty when blackout occurs!This traffic light (PJU 1A/3 & PJU 1A/20)together with the one at PJU 1A/1 & PJU 1A/3 have been working on a faulty basis whereby green light suddenly blackout then come red light without the amber light come on first for months now !Such is a serious traffic engineering fault which can cause a nasty accident!But to MBPJ,this might seem to be too petty a fault it is,that is perhaps why numerous complaints to them have fallen on deaf ears
ARA DAMANSARA A SAFE CITY 
Just wondering, can the victims of the accidents sue Sime Darby or MBPJ due to the faulty traffic lights and their ignorance for not fixing them? Any lawyers can advise?
I don’t think its annual. Seems to happen every time after heavy downpour. In fact, I think most (all) of the traffic lights in Ara change to0 suddenly from green to red. Should really make the green light flash before turning to amber then red.
there was one more accident around 4.00pm yesterday(15.11.2011. It was a taxi, looks like the driving was trying to avoid some oncoming car and ended up crashing into the traffic light..
How can MBPJ claim that the traffic has not been handed over to them when the traffic light has the traffic light numbering signs attached to it already for aeons??
