Is this padlock legal?
I’m wondering if this padlock is legal. It completely locks up a gate that leads to a designated access path to the community park between Ara Impian and the semi-dees. The legality of fencing the park was also in contention some time ago.
Anyone care to enlighten?

Far from legal. About 100 residents protested against the Semi-D committee some months back for taking short cuts in fencing their area. They have saved tons of money and increased their property value at our expense by fencing up public areas.
They couldn’t produce any approval letter from MBPJ and more importantly Bomba. They couldnt even name the so called official in MBPJ that supposedly said it was OK to fence a public park.
My bet that this is is a legal suit waiting to happen, and the best part is that the Semi-D residents are not aware of the nonsense their committee is up to and that the residents will be jointly liable.
