Good news! The tunnel is opened and roads a leveled higher. Height barricades are installed and roads are narrowed to prevent huge vehicle to passing through (buses and lorries) the tunnel. I assume they also solve the drainage problem where water will flood the tunnel during rain. The tunnel is now brighter and looks neat.

Here are some latest pictures I took today, they tested the water feature and thankfully, I was given an opportunity to take a glimpse of it. It’s almost 90% to its completion, personally I feel to be conservative, keys should be handed in Febuary 2009.

The NZX tunnel is scheduled to be closed for a month starting next Monday for repair works. MBPJ has placed several signboards at strategic locations to inform the public of this closure.
