Read that they will launch Ara Green around April. The design looks impressive and the developer and Health Care provider
also has strong background i.e. HSC Medical Center in Darby Park (near KLCC)and in Embassy Row (tie in with Somerset Service Apartment). Not sure if it is going to be overwhelming response..

i guess new tunnel will be built parallel to existing FAS tunnel meaning MBPJ will clear part of the forest area before Low cost flats..can i propose the part of the forest be retained as a green lung or community park since there are less trees in this area?

Why should we engage the Ministry? The govt has been trying to ambush the Rakyat but now that the cat has been prematurely let out of the bag, the govt is panicking and trying to do damage control. There is no sincerity at all.

In case you still don’t know how 1Care will affect you, look at how much you will be paying and what you get in return.

Assume 10% as proposed (anyone can challenge this number but I always believe there is no smoke without fire).

Find the group that is closest to your current pay:

RM5000 a month, you pay RM6000 a year
RM10,000 a month, you pay RM12,000 a year
RM15,000 a month, you pay RM18,000 a year
RM20,000 a month, you pay RM24,000 a year
RM50,000 a month, you pay RM60,000 a year
RM100,000 a month, you pay RM120,000 a year.

Now, how much is your current medical expenses (exclude major illness)?
Most of us in private sector has some form of medical coverage by our employer so we really pay very little. Personally, I can count the number of visits I made in 2011, less than 4 and cost my employer less than RM300.
And for those of us who have extra medical insurance coverage, how much are you paying a year?

So this programme will force me to pay my hard earn salary to subsidize the rest. What happened to the tax I pay today?

The biggest worry is the management of these billions. Will some directors in NFHA use the money to “invest” in a couple dozens of high end condos?

Didnt we all predict there would be congestions when they made the Megah Mas tunnel to one-way traffic? We didnt need any traffic consultants to tell us that, just simple common sense. I hope the new bypass and tunnel is built with the traffic volume forecasted to be at 2015 and not based on the 2010/2011 traffic volume. We have a big development coming up at the (used to be) FAS field, not to mention the Oasis project and the high density development planned next to the Petronas in AD.

Yes it is always too early to talk about govt policies until that policy has been drafted into law and anyone who protests can be ISA-ed or Sedition-ed.

Far from legal. About 100 residents protested against the Semi-D committee some months back for taking short cuts in fencing their area. They have saved tons of money and increased their property value at our expense by fencing up public areas.

They couldn’t produce any approval letter from MBPJ and more importantly Bomba. They couldnt even name the so called official in MBPJ that supposedly said it was OK to fence a public park.

My bet that this is is a legal suit waiting to happen, and the best part is that the Semi-D residents are not aware of the nonsense their committee is up to and that the residents will be jointly liable.

I have been informed by our Councillor, Khairul, that MBPJ has appointed the following officers to check on the collection of garbage and clearing and cleaning of drains and roads. They are as follows:-
** En. Izwan (tel: 012-693 2978) – for the cutting of grass, sweeping roads and clearing drains;
** En. Azraie Shah (tel: 017-655 2156) – for collection of garden waste;
** En. Abd. Aziz (012-633 7772) – for domestic waste collection in Ara Damansara.
